A Conversation with Katie Mack

Mack, a theoretical cosmologist, science communicator, and self-described "connoisseur of cosmic catastrophes," will chat about her favourite subject: the end of the universe.

In her upcoming talk, she will give viewers a sneak peek at her soon-to-be-released book, The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking), followed by a social media Q & A.

Mack is a Simons Emmy Noether Visiting Fellow at Perimeter, an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University, a popular science communicator on social media, and has contributed to Scientific American, Slate, Sky & Telescope, Time, and Cosmos.
